The images shows a close up photograph of a sketchbook page featuring a storyboard of an animation. Several squares fill the pages with images on an animation, with writing underneath. The central image shows a black and white pencil drawing of a person facing away with question marks around them. A black pencil lies across the drawing. GET INVOLVED IN A SERIES OF FREe ANIMATION WORKSHOPS!
Loose Screw Film Festival is delighted to support the R3connect project to deliver a series of free animation workshops.
The R3connect project has been inspired by the research of Louisa Peters, exploring how creative activities help people live well with mental illness. R3connect involves a series of artistic interpretations of how community arts activities help people to live well with mental health conditions.
The first project is a free animation course open to anyone interested in learning more about the art of animation. You will work as a group to create an animation about how arts help us reconnect. No experience needed and all materials included.
HOW CAN I TAKE PART?
This is an 8-week, online course run via zoom on Mondays 12.30pm - 2.30pm
Start date: Monday 12th June 2023
